The city maintains 20 developed parks and over 14 miles of trail, and those matter for any stay. They are where your dog will meet joggers, strollers and other dogs. Ask each trainer whether practice sessions include public places like these, and how they keep dogs safe and comfortable there.
Look at the map. Roads such as U.S. 90A, Beltway 8, State Highway 6 and the Fort Bend Toll Road run through the area, and Houston lies to the north and east. If a trainer sits at the other side of the metro, ask about pickup and delivery. Think of $1,500 to $2,500 and up as the general range for two to three weeks.
After the stay, pick a place to rebuild skills. Freedom Tree Park and Ridgeview Park, which has a splash pad and a half-mile trail, are examples. Splash pads and playgrounds draw kids and noise, so start at a distance and reward calm looks.
Missouri City is mostly in Fort Bend County, with a small part in Harris County. Ask which county's rules apply to your address.
