Good questions

Questions, answered.

What is a board-and-train program?

Your dog lives with a trainer for a set time, usually two to three weeks, and trains daily. You then learn the skills at a handoff.

What is a fair price range?

General estimates are about $1,500 to $2,500 or more for two to three weeks. Individual trainers set their own prices.

How do I compare two trainers?

Use the same questions with both: methods, sleeping arrangements, dogs per trainer, handoff and total cost.

Will training stick?

Only with practice at home. The stay is the start, not the end.

Can I visit my dog during a stay?

Policies differ. Ask what contact and visits are allowed.

Are results promised?

No honest program can promise results. Treat any guarantee as a red flag.

Do you recommend a trainer?

No. This site does not list or rank trainers or facilities.

Who is behind this site?

K9PN. The Referral Marketing Disclosure explains how.
